Ever wonder why you just can't get the carpet in your vehicle to look good? No
matter what you try, those dark stains just won't budge. The trick to getting this
clean is the right detergent and high temperature.
We clean at 180 to 210 degrees, virtually sanitizing the fabric and melting away the
grease. Automotive detail shops don't have the equipment to provide cleaning like
this. Most shops use small, portable cleaners that rely on hot tap water that only
reaches 130 degrees and cools off rapidly before it ever reaches the fabric. These
shops are terrific for your vehicle's painted finishes and also for general interior
cleaning, but unfortunately, they tend to lack on the textile cleaning. We highly
recommend avoiding any shop that uses dry foam cleaners on the fabrics. These
cleaners do a poor job and can actually lock in the stains and leave a residue causing
rapid re-soiling.
